The new build ‘Patton’ is online with a lot of exciting new stuff! This new update includes Russian weapons, weapon personalization, captured weapons, spotting 2.0, and more. We’re currently releasing new updates for the game more frequently than previously, so we’ve made a new videolog that summarizes some of the features introduced in the latest two updates :-)

The new build ‘Oster’ is online with a lot of exciting new stuff! With Easter upon us we managed to lure Reto.Colding and Reto.Gargamel into the editing booth with promises of all the eggs and bunnies they could eat. Reto.Gargamel is taking over the narrator duties from Reto.KenSolo so please be kind to the new voice :-)

The new build ‘Newgarden’ is online with a lot of exciting new stuff! We hope you will all help us welcome new players and community members to the game. With Winter Solstice & Christmas upon us we managed to get Reto.KenSolo and Reto.Colding in from the cold and into the editing booth and they went straight to work on a new videolog showing you some of the updates in the Newgarden build. The new build ‘Manstein’ has been online for a short while, and we hope you will all help us welcome new players and community members to the game. With leaves falling from the trees and autumn rains pounding down, it was very easy to lure Reto.KenSolo and Reto.Colding into the editing booth and they went straight to work on a new videolog showing you some of the updates in the Manstein build. The new build ‘Jefferson’ is online with a number of new exciting features (and a lot of bug fixes) and we hope you will all help us welcome new players and community members to the game. Following hard on the videolog from May, we herded Reto.KenSolo and Reto.Colding into the editing booth and they went to work. Take a look here:
Lights! Camera! Action! We have a new videolog out. Reto.Colding and Reto.KenSolo took an updated version of the capture and replay tool for a spin and presented a lot of the newer features for you to enjoy. We are currently working on finishing up new features for the Jefferson build so we can start working on stabilizing and testing the next build.
Mysterious whistling sounds has been heard from soldiers standing around vehicles lately and a couple of us has managed to get ourselves kicked from our own machines while playing with anti-griefing systems.
We are also having a lot of meetings with our friends from Square Enix to setup how we work together to make sure that we can play to each others’ strengths and we here at Reto can focus more on working with the community as much as possible to make the game better/faster/stronger.
That is all from me this lovely friday afternoon, so have a great weekend everybody! :-)
Icons done! Update from Perforce! Bugs fixed! Feature locked and committed! There is a LOT going on here at Reto HQ as we are working as fast as we can to get the features for the Guderian build done. But we also managed to get a videolog detailing the Felber build done. And so much faster than the last one. :-) If you haven’t already please notice the new music from our tame Beethoven – Jesper Kyd.
The community is really showing just how awesome they are. This week we have a fan-trailer made by K120 & a detailed account by Fontan of his visit to HQ. There is also a lot of progress getting done on both the Squad Leader feature and “First Blood” and we have been doing some quick iterations on how the user interface should look and work, both for the squad leader and for the squad members being led. We want to create a system where it is easy for a new player to have a fun experience by following the orders and guidelines from more experienced players. You can still do what you want, but you don’t have to worry about what to attack or where to spawn if you don’t feel like it.
MAJOR EMERGENCY! On Thursday right before lunch we ran out of sugar for our tea and coffee.
Nobody felt like venturing outside to the supermarket 300m away and buy some so we decided to stick with icing sugar until we had new groceries delivered. After noticing that my tea had a slightly odd consistency I noticed that icing sugar contains 20% potato starch…..
