Immersion and Gunplay Tweaks in Everhart

In addition to adding three new infranty trucks to Heroes & Generals the upcoming ‘Everhart – Knights of the Road’ update will also contain a range of tweaks affecting the immersion and gunplay of the game.

To a wide extent the tweaks are more something that you, rather than seeing them on screen, will feel or sense in the game. Stuff that makes pulling the trigger just a bit more satisfying.

New Features

Soviet GAZ-AAA Mobile AA

This update brings a brand new type of vehicles to the game: Mobile Anti-Air and here is the Soviet one GAZ-AAA Truck. Read more about it here.

German SdKfz 7/1 Mobile AA

The Germans bring THEIR Mobile AA as well. The heavier but equally awesome SdKfz 7/1. Read more about it here.

American M16 MGMC Mobile AA

The American are not left out. They have 4 mounted “Ma Deuce” Heavy Machineguns on a halftrack in the impressive M16MGMC. Read more about it here.

Adams update brings new terrain and tweaks to the town map

In the coming update named Adams (after the American hero Lucian Adams) we have improved the terrain graphics and added a handful of tweaks to the town map.

Terrain update

We have updated and improved the way terrain is generated and drawn on screen, and the Town map is the first to receive the update. You can see that grass and bushes now look a lot better and the terrain has a more fluid and less jagged feel. In addition the grass-land and fields are a bit more hilly, which helps infantry move by providing a bit more cover.

Here you can see how nice these improvements look, and how nice the uniforms now blend in to the terrain better. This is the capture point E2 –

New Map and Gamemode, Soviet SMG, German Kettenkrad, StatsDB, American Folding stock Carbine AND more in recently released update!

The recently released update named Young (after US brigadier-general Gordon Russell Young) we’ve added a LOT of new features! And here’s a quick overview of the new features we’ve added for you to enjoy!

New Features

NEW Depot Map and NEW Encounter Game Mode

“Encounter” gamemode is a hectic new infantry only gamemode where two infantry groups fight for control of a single control point. In the first map this is a small railway depot in a forest. Read more about it here.

Improved Spawn Protection

In this update we also brought in a brand new Spawn Protection feature on both the existing Skirmish and brand-new encounter gamemodes. Read more about it here.

New StatsDB to improve server performance

As an addon (November 10) to this update we’ve also released a new StatsDB (short for Statistics Database) to improve server performance and generally allow the increased number of players to all play at the same time and not experience stuck ATs, delayed XP & Credits, Server timeouts etc.

US M1A1 Carbine with folding stock

A brand new US weapon appears. The M1A1 Folding stock semi-auto carbine, and it also brings a couple of new personal skins you can choose from. Read More about it here

PPS-43 – New Soviet SMG ready for action

The Soviet Union has become the first faction with 3 SMGs with the PPS-43 making its’ way to the front! Read more about it here.

A tracked motorcycle? German Kettenkrad is here!

The German Kettenkrad is the first motorcycle class vehicle with both great stability, great off-road capabilities AND the option to bring ammo/medic/Anti-tank supply crates! Read more about this fun new vehicle here.

Coming soon: Action in the Trenches – The Depot Map and the Encounter Game Mode

As teased in our last DEV STREAM, we are introducing a new Encounter Game Mode and the new Depot Map in the Young update (after US brigadier-general Gordon Russell Young)

After a long time in development and several iterations, we are proud to present to you this new infantry-only map. No tanks to worry about, no pesky airplanes to ruin your day. It is the brutal strength of each player that determines the outcome of the battle.

Designed to be an intuitive and easily understood map, Depot will offer a dynamic and action-packed experience.

Map tweaks coming in Xylander Update!

In the upcoming Xylander update that we are currently testing, Reto.Desji and Reto.RedBjarne are including a round of tweaks and updates to the Town map and the Factory map. In a previous devstream we managed to corner BOTH of them and made them show these changes.

Factory Map changes coming in Walker update

While we are still hard at work getting the Walker update ready for you all, it is time to lift the curtain and reveal some of the awesome new features this update brings! The update is called ‘Walker’ after the American Major General Fred L. Walker.

A map that has been around for quite a while is the Factory map, and this time reto.Desji managed to find time in between his other very secret work to give it a makeover, addressing a lot of the major and minor annoyances on the map, as well as adding a solid handful of new tweaks to improve the level.
