We have pulled performance stats for all vehicles and looked at how they perform in game and we’ve been digging through our forums and the Steam discussions to gather as much community feedback as possible, and now we’ve rolled this into a great big balancing pass for armored vehicles (and AA cannons).
The next update is called ‘Walker’ after the American Major General Fred L. Walker, and here these tweaks, fixes, etc. will show up. Keep reading for more details on what is being improved.

A map that has been around for quite a while is the Factory map, and this time reto.Desji managed to find time in between his other very secret work to give it a makeover, addressing a lot of the major and minor annoyances on the map, as well as adding a solid handful of new tweaks to improve the level.

Monday, June 22nd marks the anniversary of the beginning of Operation Bagration in 1944, a major Soviet offensive pushing west into Poland and Belarus aimed at driving the German forces out!
The date was chosen to be the same calendar day as when Germany invaded the Soviet Union in Operation Barbarossa in 1941. So in effect this is a double anniversary. We want to commemorate Operation Bagration by giving you all a present this weekend!
After the Vasilevsky update rolled out on the servers we have spent a lot of time looking at player performance, trawled the forums and generally been gathering more information on what the community likes and dislikes.
This brand-new update brings a lot of new features – assault team morale , a new melee system and more! The update is named Vasilevsky after the Soviet general Aleksandr Vasilevsky and here’s a quick overview of the new features we’ve added for you to enjoy!

In the next major update, named Vasilevsky, we have greatly improved the melee combat. We know that a lot of players like to carry a knife or shovel or maybe a wrench with which they can also fix both their own and teammates vehicles. But we felt the melee combat could be improved and so we did.
We have just given our melee mechanics another iteration, using Inverse Kinematics and more precise animations to aid the attacker.
It will now be easier to hit your enemy with knives, shovels and wrenches.
This coming weekend is Memorial Day weekend in the United States with Memorial Day itself on Monday.
This is a day honoring those who lost their lives in military service, similar to Remembrance Day in the British Commonwealth, Volkstrauertag in Germany, the ANZAC Day in Australia and New Zealand and many other days of remembrance all over the world.
We want to take this opportunity to remember the ones who have sacrificed their lives to secure the future of their nation, not ONLY in the United States but all over the world.
In the next update to the game, one of the new features we are introducing is Morale for Assault Teams. The next update is called “Vasilevsky” after the Soviet general Aleksandr Vasilevsky
All assault teams now have a morale value that shows how combat-ready they are. Here is one of my “Mototized Guard” units happily moving towards Warsaw. This is how it looks on the campaign map.
We have just crossed the line of 5 MILLION registered Heroes & Generals! That is a lot of players! Thank you for your support and we hope you’re having great fun with the game. With players from more than 172 countries we TRULY do have a World War going and have players from more countries than what actually participated in WW2!
