Why can’t I play even though I registered?

In order to launch the game and play you need to be registered on this site AND you need a beta-key from us. To register for the game AND sign up for a beta-key please follow this link. If you are already signed up and logged in to this site you don’t need to do anything. We send out beta-key invitations by email in batches so please have patience.

Launching The Game

Once you are confident that you have installed everything that you require, please navigate to: http://game.heroesandgenerals.com/

You browser will prompt you for ActiveX install of our retox-plugin (which in fact is our engine) – please select “install for all users”. It might look similar to this:

Enter the login credentials that you created earlier.

If you have made it this far then you are now logged in and the game should be downloading data right away.

When the “Enter Combat” button in the “Quick Launch” popup-menu is no longer grayed out, you can click it and jump right into action in the first available mission!

If you wish to choose a specific mission, you can also choose to click on the ‘Enter Combat’ button on one of the missions in the Missions menu on the right hand side.

The 3D FPS Action game should now load (if you encounter a firewall warning then please allow the application called ‘Hng.exe’).
