What is your gamertag in Heroes & Generals, and what’s the story?
Reto.Robotron3000, well… At some point I was playing a load of old arcade games and wanted Robotron2084 as a gamertag, but it was taken in whatever game it was I was trying to play. So in frustration I decided to round up to 3000 :-)

What is your position at Reto-Moto?
Community Manager / Game Designer. I am basically in charge of helping the players enjoy the game and helping them bring their thoughts and ideas into the game’s development.


For how long have you been working here?
Since April 2010.

What games have you worked on?
Hitman: Contracts, Hitman: BloodMoney, Kane & Lynch: Dead Men, Hitman: Absolution, some unpublished titles and a number of educational games back in the stone age.

Which tools do you use for making Heroes & Generals?
Notepad++, XSI, Spreadsheets, Word Processors, coffee and cake.

What are your hobbies?
Handgun and rifle shooting. Watching documentaries about obscure historical events, visiting strange museums around the world (French Fry museum, 17th century working Marble mill), perfoming brain surgery while piloting a helicopter, AND lying about my hobbies.

What’s the best thing about Heroes & Generals?
Playing a first-person game where each won (or lost) battle has consequence for the outcome of the war.

What’s the best thing about working at Reto-Moto?
Working with a super talented crew on a fantastic project.

What are you working on right now?
Weapon balancing and planning new weapons’ setup, reworking the websites, helping new players get into the game and collecting information to make it easier and more intuitive to get started.

What are your favorite games of all time?
Westwoods old Blade Runner game, Dig-Dug, Demon’s Souls, Day of Defeat, Wasteland, Fallout 1&2, Ultima IV, Who Dares Wins, Little Big Planet and about 9 mio. others :-)

What are your favorite movies?
Cross of Iron, Stalingrad, Das Boot, Objective and Burma :-)
