    Well, I know I’d like to see gun jamming in the game; like they said, you don’t see it often, I think it would be an interesting game mechanic.

      Gun jamming is an annoying feature, overheat is ok.

        technically, overheat will either, damage the gun (mostly barrel and loading mechanism) or make it more prone to jamming even after it’s temperature returned to normal. sometime machine gunner bring with them a spare barrel so they can switch on the field if the first one became too damage due to overheat.

        so it’s either, make a mechanic where gun can overheat and/or jam, make the game more arcade by putting a cooldown without the jamming, or leave things as they are now.

        And i am sure many people would not want the first or second option.

    If you could, maybe add stg 44 and a bar gun plus morters to this game.

    oh wait there already developing the bar gun, well at least there also making the fg 42 now im happy :)

    … For it to be really useful it needs to be visible from the campaign map, so you can plan to attack with infantry when the weather is too bad for planes to be effective etc.

    nice intention. What about first aligning the day/night cycle between the strategic map and the FPS battles. I’m quite frustrated to see night conditions in a battle when we have full daylight in the campaign map.

      Apart from potential bugs the reason for this is that the action game gets the time of day when it starts. F. ex. campaign map — daylight an action game starts in daylight.
      Time passes and campaign map now shows night. The same action game is still running in daylight so if you join it you will get a daylight battle even though campaign shows night.

What are you waiting for soldier? We need heroes on the battlefield and generals to lead them!
