Intelligence Bulletin Vol 3 * No 2

Hooray! It seems that we have routed the ‘Army of the Flu’ – reto.injection ended up taking one for the team yesterday, but other than that we are back hammering away at the keyboards and shuffling mice across mousepads like there’s no tomorrow. We are steadily getting the Guderian build more and more stable and closer to release.

In the list of developers below you might also notice 2 new names; Reto.Stenum and Reto.CrazyCat. Reto.Stenum is working closely with Reto.mastermisaster17 and his tame dinosaurs on the server backend and thus also helping Reto.Vashu and Reto.Indusninja with the Generals part of the game. Reto.CrazyCat is our resident number cruncher. Her job is to crunch all the numbers and metrics we get from the servers and help us see the impact of f.ex. tweaks to weapons, bicycle speed, etc. In addition to this she has to explain the statistics to those of us without strong mathematical backgrounds. We have also set the wheels in motion for another batch of developer profiles, and hopefully we can get those started next week.

Now I have to help reto.splixxen test some things on the Guderian build so enough Intelligence Bulletin for this week. Have a great weekend everybody :-)

The Intelligence Bulletin is designed primarily for the use of the members of the Heroes & Generals community. It is a vehicle for the dissemination to them of the latest information received from Reto-Moto Intelligence sources about the development of Heroes & Generals. Readers are invited to comment on the use that they are making of the Intelligence Bulletin and to forward suggestions for future issues.

    You need to stand on the health+ammo boxes for more bullets, you can find them on the map, look for a + ;).

    Crazycat: Will be very interesting to see those stats. Would mostly love to see the average k/d of every weapon. Dunno if that’s part of the statistics you focus on though :P.

    Dondergod: I may just do that kind of statistics, but right now I’ve been focusing on researching what programs to use for analysing Heroes & Generals, so I’m not that far yet regarding the actual statistics. I will keep you all updated though :-)
